Welcome to the special "Our Schools. Our Choice." series hosted by Michael Romain and Isaac Lewis (North Lawndale Community News/Austin Voice). This is designed to help Chicago voters make informed choices in the historic November school board elections, when residents will vote for a fully elected school board—the first in the city’s nearly 200-year history. Voters citywide will also, for the first time, elect the president of the Chicago Board of Education.

Today's studio guest is Hilario Dominguez who shares his personal insights as a CPS alumni, teacher, and political advocate that wants you to know he has what it takes to lead as the board's president.
