Rod Davies of The Quarrymen

In this edition Nick and Sue sit down with Rod Davis of The Quarrymen to discuss the origins of the Beatles, playing with John Lennon in Liverpool, and the day Paul McCartney joined the band at the St. Peter's Church Fete."

In 2026, Rod is the vocalist and still performs with The Quarrymen and during this interview he will take you through his life, including the point in the late 1970's and 1980, when John Lennon was aiming to reform The Quarrymen.

This podcast contains a lot of music history and is a must to all 50's and 60's music fans and Beatles fans too.

The big question was always would The Beatles have reformed, well maybe not, but perhaps The Quarrymen would have done with that line-up.
