You don’t know the whole story

We’re often quick to decide what kind of person someone is.

Rude. Lazy. Selfish. Arrogant. Difficult.

But what if we’re judging someone from the outside without knowing the story happening on the inside?

In this video, I explore why our first impressions can be misleading, why we give ourselves more context than we give other people, and how easily we can mistake a small piece of information for the whole story.

The same idea applies beyond people to social media, news, work, and the way we understand the world around us.

Because sometimes, we don’t need a completely different answer.

We just need a little more of the story.
