In her deep grief, she pours her heart out to God at the Tabernacle, promising to dedicate her child to His service. God answers her cry, giving birth to Samuel, the prophet who will transition Israel into the era of kings. In the New Testament, Jesus walks through the Temple during winter and faces intense interrogation. He offers an unbreakable promise of security to those who belong to Him, declaring that His true sheep are held so securely by the Father that absolutely nothing can tear them away.
