Note sull'episodio
Thirty-seven mighty men. The last name on the list is Uriah's. A census that killed seventy thousand. A threshing floor purchased when it could have been given free. David is not finished—but what happens on this ground today will shape everything still to come. The site of an altar becomes the site of a temple. God is already preparing what David cannot yet see.
