A Heart and A Tune

“There's no use in grumbling when the raindrops come tumbling. Remember, you're the one who can fill the world with sunshine.” - Snow White (Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, 1937). Everything seems to go wrong when you feel weak and depressed. But when you choose to be cheerful, every day will bring you more and more joy and fullness (Proverbs 15:15, TPT). Step By Faith: Lord, we pray that You fill every heart listening with Your joy and peace today. May a cheerful heart rise within them so they can delight in Your goodness all day long with a smile and a song. Amen. Verses For Thought: Proverbs 15:15 / Ephesians 5:19 / Psalm 23:1-4 / Proverbs 18:14 / 2 Corinthians 12:9 / Ephesians 5:19 / John 10:10 / Psalm 118:24 / Colossians 3:2 / Psalm 119:160 / John 14:6 / Deuteronomy 32:4 / 1 Peter 5:7 / Hebrews 13:8 / Romans 12:2 Email Me! Stuck In The Book

Townsfolk: “Look there she goes, that girl is so peculiar. I wonder if she's feeling well. With a dreamy, far-off look, and her nose stuck in a book. What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle…” (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, 1992) Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before (1 Thessalonians 4:11, NLT). Prayer for Faith: Our Father in Heaven, help us live quietly, mind our own business, and work faithfully with our hands, just as You teach us in 1 Thessalonians 4:11. May our lives honor You in all we do. Amen. Bible Study: 1 Thessalonians 4:11 / Jeremiah 31:2 / John 15:16 / Psalm 16:11 / Colossians 3:2 / Psalm 105:4-11 / Jeremiah 29:11-13 / Romans 8:28, 31 / 1 John 4:4 / Hebrews 12:2 Email Me! Inside Out Kingdom

“Once a year, we throw a party here in town. Once a year, we turn all Paris upside down. Every man's a king and every king's a clown. Once again it's Topsy Turvy Day!” - Clopin Trouillefou (Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame) Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out (Romans 12:2, MSG). Prayer for Faith: God, we give You our whole lives today—our thoughts, choices, and actions. Transform the way we think so we don’t live like the world, but instead clearly see and follow Your beautiful and perfect will for us. Amen. Bible Study: Romans 12:1-2 / 1 Corinthians 12:18 / 1 Samuel 16:7 / Psalm 18:30, 32:8, 139:7-12 / Luke 12:2-3 / Jeremiah 29:11 / Philippians 4:13 / Acts 17:28 / Matthew 4:19, 11:28-30 / John 14:17 / Proverbs 27:5 / 1 Corinthians 1:27 / Jeremiah 1:5 / John 15:18-19 Email Me! Real Slow or Real Gone?

“Speed. I… am… speed.” - Lightning McQueen (Disney/Pixar's Cars) “Slow down, you're gonna crash. Baby you were screamin' it's a blast, blast, blast. Look out, you got your blinders on. Everybody's lookin' for a way to get real gone, real gone.” - Sheryl Crow (Disney/Pixar's Cars) The best way to live is with revelation-knowledge, for without it, you’ll grow impatient and run right into error (Proverbs 19:2, TPT). Prayer for Faith: Dear Lord, Your Word in Proverbs 19:2 reminds us that zeal without knowledge can lead us astray. I pray over everyone listening—slow our steps, give us wisdom and understanding, and guide us to walk thoughtfully in Your truth. Amen. Let It Be

“The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside. Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried. Don't let them in, don't let them see. Be the good girl you always have to be. Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know. Well, now they know…” - Elsa (Disney's Frozen) For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts. There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account (Hebrews 4:12-13, TPT). Prayer for Faith: Lord God, as Your living Word declares in Epistle to the Hebrews 4:12–13 (TPT), let Your powerful truth search every heart listening. Reveal, heal, and align them with Your perfect will. Amen. In Everything We See

“Look harder… you see… He lives in you…” - Rafiki (Disney's The Lion King) “He lives in you. He lives in me. He watches over. Everything we see. Into the water. Into the truth. In your reflection. He lives in you.” - (Disney's The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride) Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives (Galatians 5:25, NLT). Scripture References: Galatians 5:25 / Colossians 2:10 / Romans 8:14 / 1 Corinthians 13:12 / 2 Thessalonians 1:10 / Ephesians 5:18 / Jeremiah 29:13 / Joshua 1:9 / Luke 1:38 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 / Matthew 28:20 / 1 Peter 5:7 / John 14:6 / John 7:37-39, 15:5 / Psalm 139:7-10 Email Me! Grow On Down

“We're coming down to the ground, there's no better place to go. We've got snow up on the mountains, we've got rivers down below.” - Peter Gabriel (Disney/Pixar’s Wall-E) He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less (John 3:30, NLT). Prayer for Faith: Our Lord in Heaven, as it says in Gospel of John 3:30 (NLT), may You increase in the hearts of everyone listening, and may we decrease. Let our lives reflect more of You and less of us. Be greater in our thoughts, our words, and our actions today. In Jesus’ name, amen. Scripture References: John 3:30 / Proverbs 19:21 / Mark 10:18 / James 1:4 / Colossians 2:7-9 / Luke 8:11 / Psalm 32:8 / Matthew 7:24-27 / Mark 4:24-25 Galatians 5:22-23 Email Me! A Starlight in The Darkness

“And at last I see the light. And it's like the fog has lifted. And at last I see the light. And it's like the sky is new.” - Rapunzel (Disney's Tangled) A fountain of life was in him, for his life is light for all humanity. And this Light never fails to shine through darkness— Light that darkness could not overcome (John 1:4-5, TPT)! Prayer for Faith: Light of Life, just as You declare in John 1:4–5 (TPT), Your life is our light, and that light shines in the darkness and cannot be overcome. I pray over every listener today—let Your life fill them, let Your light shine through them, and let no darkness overpower them. In Jesus’ name, amen. Scripture References: John 1:4-7 / Psalm 119:105, 130 / Jeremiah 29:13 / John 15:5 / Psalm 36:9 / John 20:29 / Proverbs 3:5-6 / John 8:12 / 1 Peter 2:9 / 2 Corinthians 5:7 Email Me! A Friend Like Him

“Have some of column A. Try all of column B. I'm in the mood to help you dude. You ain't never had a friend like me.” - Genie (Disney's Aladdin, 1992) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you (John 14:16-17, AMP). Prayer for Faith: Wonderful Counselor, just as You promised in Gospel of John 14:16–17, thank You for sending the Helper, the Spirit of Truth, to be with us forever. I pray over everyone listening that Your Holy Spirit would guide them, comfort them, and live powerfully within them today. Let them know they are never alone. In Jesus’ name, amen. Scripture References: John 14:16-17 / Psalm 139:13-16 / Jeremiah 1:5 / John 15:15 / Isaiah 43:1-2 / Matthew 11:28 / 1 Kings 19:11-13 / Joshua 1:8 / Romans 8:28 / Isaiah 9:6 / John 15:5 Email Me! Called By Name

"In learning, you will teach and in teaching, you will learn. You'll find your place beside the ones you love. Oh, and all the things you dreamed of, the visions that you saw. Well, the time is drawing near now, it's yours to claim it all.” - Phil Collins (Disney's Tarzan) God has transmitted his very substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness (2 Timothy 3:16, TPT). Prayer for Faith: Father God in Heaven, thank You for Your Word, breathed by You and alive with truth. I pray over everyone listening that Your Word will instruct them, correct them, and shape their hearts in righteousness. Let Scripture equip them fully for every good work You’ve prepared for them. In Jesus’ name, amen.
