A dangerous evening is unfolding across North Texas. Severe storms are pounding the Dallas area right now. We've a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Flash Flood Warning in effect. Some storms could dump one to two inches of rain. Hail the size of ping pong balls and 60 mile an hour wind gusts are possible before this wraps up around 10:30 tonight. If you're in Dallas or Kaufman County, stay inside and away from windows.
In the next 24 hours. The rest of the state sits under a gray, mild blanket. We're starting at 78 degrees under overcast skies. That overnight low of 74 degrees? Closer to our normal high for early March than our low.
