The Conquest of the Land of Israel will take us through the Book of Joshua, enabling us to explore, in-depth, the challenges and successes that faced the fledgling Jewish nation as they first entered the land and became a real nation, with a land of their own and a country to run. The Book of Joshua lays the foundation for all those books that will follow and provides insight for us today, as we experience the renewed conquest of Israel and re-creation of the Nation of Israel in a land of their own. The class will progress in order, chapter by chapter, through the book of Joshua, but will also relate the text to previous and later texts to create a broad context for this very special book of the Bible.

Each week, Sondra will share her own insights, based on centuries of Jewish traditions, with her international audience. This is a podcast you don't want to miss!
