What does it really mean to care for one another?
In this week’s Sunday Spark: The Set List, Pastor Zach shares “My Brother’s Keeper,” a song about choosing compassion over judgment and support over control. Its words remind us that the people around us are rarely exactly as we wish they were—and neither are we.
Rather than pointing fingers at weakness, the song invites us to stand beside one another, protect each other’s freedom, and help each other learn to stand on our own two feet.
It is a simple but challenging vision of community: not fixing people, not judging them, not valuing them only for their strengths, but choosing again and again to be present, faithful, and kind.
Because sometimes being our brother’s keeper simply means walking alongside one another with grace.
