In the United States, the 11 host cities for the tournament included Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. FIFA estimated that the 2026 tournament will provide 17 billion dollars in GDP growth in the United States and create approximately 185,000 jobs. But how much of that money will be utilized to find long-term solutions for those experiencing homelessness in our cities?
