I had the immense pleasure and privilege to have an interview with CEO and co-founder Garrett Marrero of the Maui Brewing Company during my vacation in Hawaii. I don’t wanna spoil much of the interview but I do wanna stress that it is truly remarkable, in an industry that is still evolving like ours in Canada to see such a magnificent rise in the microbrewery industry like Maui’s. The presence, innovations, and influence that Maui Brewing has in their localized market is truly the stuff of wonders and I think that a lot of microbrews could learn a thing or two, not just in those respects, but in terms of sustainability as well.
