Bigger Is Not Better: How Good Nature Organic Lawn Care Found the Right Mixer for Heavy Organic Inputs

Summary: Good Nature Organic Lawn Care founder Alec McClennan replaced failing traditional tote mixers with the EvenMix IBC Tote Mixer, an air-powered 15 to 20 pound unit with patented folding blades that solved his heavy organic solids suspension problem. The result was faster mixing cycles, consistent product quality, reduced waste, lower capital cost, and a single portable mixer deployable across multiple totes. Bullet 1: The EvenMix patented folding blade design collapses to fit through a standard six inch IBC tote opening and expands during operation for full three dimensional mixing coverage, eliminating the need for tote modification or permanent mounting. Bullet 2: Good Nature Organic Lawn Care successfully suspended heavy corn solids and other difficult organic inputs that had hardened and settled in previous equipment, directly reducing product waste and improving application consistency. Bullet 3: EvenMix delivers cost savings in four areas simultaneously including lower purchase price, lower energy cost, lower maintenance cost, and reduced product waste, with waste reduction typically providing the fastest return on investment. Bullet 4: The EvenMix IBC Tote Mixer is well suited for organic lawn care, agriculture, specialty chemicals, water treatment, cosmetics, and food and beverage operations running IBC tote or drum workflows where settling, clumping, or flammability concerns make traditional electric mixers impractical.
