When is the last time two separate things that you might have heard, seen, or engaged with in some other way – spaced by many years – came together in ways that were unexpected or surprising?

This contains two elements. A quantum romance. And how a book, specifically The Vertical Interrogation of Strangers by Bhanu Kapil, captured my attention and imagination.
