Listeners are encouraged to discuss what they think it means to be “filled” with the Holy Spirit. Families are invited to pray for Carpenters for Christ, an organization in Tegucigalpa, Honduras dedicated to restoring the dignity of communities in need by building homes, offering medical aid, and spreading the Gospel of Christ. Welcome to “STEP into God’s Mission,” a weekly devotional designed to help families explore God’s heart for the world! In this episode, we will explore Revelation 7:9-10 to help us learn more about what God’s eternal kingdom will look like. Listeners are encouraged to discuss what they see and hear when they close their eyes and picture people from all around the world worshipping God. Families are invited to pray in two languages for Candelaria and Gregorio Garcia Xep who live in Panajachel, Guatemala. The Xep family runs an organization dedicated to educating and empowering youth to acquire the skills necessary to achieve their dreams and support their families' flourishing. Families are invited to pray for Won by One to Jamaica, a ministry in Harmons, Jamaica that empowers people through medical initiatives, economic and leadership development, education, and discipleship. Episode Scripture: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” -Acts 1:8 (NIV)

In this episode, we will explore Matthew 28:16-20 to help us learn what it can look like to be a missionary and understand that Jesus told all of his followers to be missionaries. Listeners are encouraged to discuss one way they can share their faith with others. Families are invited to pray for Nissin Christ Church, a church in Nagoya, Japan that is helping people know who God is and what his word teaches! Families are invited to pray for Pistis, a school in Nairobi Kenya for children of seminary students. Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus’ resurrection from Matthew 28:1-7. Listeners are invited to discuss what it would have been like to see Jesus after he rose from the dead. Families will learn that Jesus was God’s plan to defeat the enemy and restore everything that sin had broken. Jesus is our RISEN king! Day 7- Holy Saturday

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will review the events of Holy Week to prepare our hearts for Easter. Families will hear small portions of scripture from the past week and are invited to join in a series of prayers that will encourage them to live like Jesus is their king. Day 6- Good Friday

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus’ crucifixion from Luke 23: 44-48. Listeners are invited to discuss how they felt when they were in a place that was really dark. Families will learn not only about the darkness that covered the earth when Jesus was unfairly killed on the cross, but also why Good Friday is called “good” after this tragedy occurred. Day 5- Maundy Thursday

Welcome to STEP into Holy Week, a daily devotional designed to help families walk with Jesus! In this episode, we will hear about Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane from Luke 22:39-46. Listeners are invited to discuss something hard that’s happened in their lives recently. Families will learn that when we experience hard things, we should pray that what God wants to happen will happen. We can trust that God gives us the strength to do what is best, even if it’s really hard.
