From that moment on, he fell in love with the game. While baseball is still growing in the region, softball has long been a major sport in Limpopo—and now both sports are seeing young athletes thrive. Moses’ journey is nothing short of remarkable. At just 18 years old, he represented South Africa at the 1997 Junior World Softball Championship in Newfoundland, Canada, and quickly earned a spot on the senior national team the same year after an outstanding performance. He went on to represent South Africa from 1997 to 2009 and served as Senior National Team Captain.
