December 14th, 2025: This Is Why Your Spiritual Life Feels Stuck
St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church Bible Study di Fr Stephen Osburn
Note sull'episodio
God does not call us to a life of excuses. He calls us to the feast of the Kingdom. In the parable of the Great Banquet, the invitation is real, the table is set, and the host is ready, but people refuse because they want life on their own terms. That is the warning for every Christian heart. We do not get to place God somewhere down the list and still expect our faith to stay strong.
The Christian life is shaped by “Thy will be done.” That means worship is not optional, prayer is not a leftover, and church life is not something we do only when it is convenient. We come as we are, even when life is messy, because the Church is where God heals us. The call is simple: stop waiting for the perfect moment, stop making excuses, and put Christ first.
