So maybe Abraham’s faith needed a little testing after all. But… here’s the thing. I can’t help but wonder if God’s test is of a different sort. Because this week I noticed something I never noticed before. God tells Abraham, “take your son, your only son, Isaac.” Except Isaac isn’t Abraham’s only son.
