What if God’s mission starts closer than you think?

In Week 2 of Made for This: God’s Mission, Our Calling, Pastor Jason Smith explores the heart of a missional God who meets us in our pain, brings peace, and then sends us back into the world as ambassadors of His love.

Centered around Jesus’ words in John 20 — “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you” — this message reminds us that God’s mission isn’t reserved for pastors or missionaries overseas. It begins right where we are: our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and everyday relationships.

Through powerful stories of mothers who refused to give up, the testimony of Augustine and his mother Monica, and a moving story from within the church community, this sermon highlights how God often uses our deepest pain as part of His purpose.
