Kerala is facing a preventable public-health challenge from Shigella. The infection can spread through contaminated food, unsafe water, poor hand hygiene, and close contact with infected persons. Public panic can drive unnecessary hospital visits, while a delay in identifying blood in stool, dehydration, fever, abdominal pain, lethargy, or clusters can allow the infection to spread further.

I respectfully propose a Kerala pilot of Dr Maya AI, delivered through four routes: Dr Maya AI App, Prema Kiosk, Rema Kiosk App, and a standalone offline colour-code IT programme for low-connectivity areas.
