The Spaces focused on Super Phoenix Sports’ decision to shift the Star Atlas seasonal racing kickoff from Feb 1 to March 1 to ensure stability, polish, and stronger outreach. Nord detailed that recent Star Atlas game updates improved visuals but introduced quirks affecting server management; SPS is collaborating directly with Star Atlas devs on patches (e.g., spectator camera/photo mode, leaderboard, private match controls). The team is finalizing a new betting-enabled website and refining production ops. Lanzer outlined the season format: four Star Racer weekends in March—first two as qualifiers with Star Atlas NFT prizes, last two as playoffs with cash prizes—followed by the inaugural Star Shooter on March 29. A coordinated “roadshow” of AMAs with guilds, teams, influencers, Solana Gaming, and Star Atlas’ Discord will build awareness. Sponsorships are open to web2/web3 partners; SPS also noted DAO approvals for recent applications, with council members recusing appropriately. The group aims for EU-friendlier timing, weekly cadence over time, and continued updates next Friday
