CONTROL Resonant is.... Eh? | We Crowned The BEST Indie Game!

CONTROL Resonant is finally here — but does Remedy’s sequel live up to the original Control?

This week on the Spawn Point Podcast, Cam jumps back into Control before checking out CONTROL Resonant and sharing his early thoughts on Remedy Entertainment’s new game. We talk gameplay, combat, what’s changed from the original, and whether Resonant is clicking with us so far.

Then things get competitive as we hold the ULTIMATE INDIE GAME TOURNAMENT! A completely random selection of indie games goes head-to-head until only one remains and we crown our favorite.

🎮 THIS WEEK:

• Control — Revisiting Remedy’s original before Resonant • CONTROL Resonant — Our impressions, gameplay thoughts & reaction • Orbital Bullet — Is this $1.99 pickup actually worth playing? • The Witcher 3 Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2 • The Ultimate Indie Game Tournament • Riot Games’ expectations for 2XKO • RuneScape 4 officially announced • Capcom’s REX Project and AI-assisted game development • Mike Tomlin’s bizarre Minecraft video • More gaming news, opinions, tangents and questionable decisions

CONTROL Resonant has been one of the biggest new gaming releases to talk about, but after spending time with both games back-to-back, there are definitely some things worth discussing.

And stick around for the Indie Game Tournament because some of these matchups got WAY harder than we expected.

👇 LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS: What do you think of CONTROL Resonant so far, and what indie game would YOU crown as the best?
