Note sull'episodio
Australian interior designer James Kintore — founder of Kintore Design and co-creator of the furniture brand Mat and Kin — joins Share Your Bitcoin Journey for a conversation about materiality, the time chain, and what it means to design for things that last.
Known for uncompromising craft on the New South Wales coast, James builds small-batch walnut and cast-bronze pieces made to outlast the buyer. His Woollahra Residence was published in The Local Project and Artedomus. In this episode he shares how the same logic that drives his materials led him to Bitcoin, why he calls Bitcoin "an energy agreement," and what made him leave Australia in 2025 to rebuild on a Bitcoin standard in Costa Rica.
