Further context for Star Wars EU rant👩🏻‍💻: In the SW Legends, Jacen Solo had a secret family, turned to the dark side, became Darth Caedus (Kylo Ren was never a sith with a “Darth” title btw) and killed his aunt Mara Jade before being taken out by his twin Jaina Solo. This left Luke and Mara’s kid Ben Skywalker (who they stole Ben Solo’s name from!) to join Luke as he was blamed and banished into govt-mandated exile for Jacen’s fall to the dark side (better plot than mysterious self-imposed exile!). This plotline was unresolved when Disney bought Star Wars, but it was obviously scrappped and stripped for the shittiest parts. This rant will reappear frequently.
