Saul, Jonathan & David: What Our Relationships Reveal About Us

What do the relationships in your life reveal about your heart? It’s easy to read the story of Saul, Jonathan, and David and start looking for the “Sauls” and “Jonathans” around us. But what if Scripture is asking us to turn the mirror around? In this episode of Scripture Adventures, we walk through 1 Samuel and look at how fear, insecurity, faith, and trust in Yahweh shaped the relationships between these three men. Saul grasped for control. Jonathan loved with open hands. And David reminds us that even a heart devoted to God sometimes needs to be strengthened, redirected, and brought back to Yahweh. Did Jesus Tell Us to Go to Church?

Do It in Faith, Not in Fear

What do we do when we believe God is asking us to move—but we're afraid? Why God Cares About the Way We Communicate
