Episode 0016 "Dead For a Dollar"
Original Story by Murray Burnett, Directed by Himan Brown, Host: E.G. Marshall
Vengeance is traditionally supposed to be the province of the Lord. But too often individuals decide that they will take it upon themselves to mete out punishment to those who may richly deserve it. The results are almost always devastating as witnessed.
In today's world, the golden key to success is too often unfortunately attained through absolute ruthlessness and utter disregard of ethics, morality, and the rights of others. Jason Grant was a symbol of such success. A multimillionaire and a power in the world of international finance, Grant sat on a golden throne built on the ruin of many lives and many hopes. Along with his millions, Jason Grant had earned the hatred of more people than he bothered to remember. This day, two men in whom the fires of hatred burned sat in a bar.
