Note sull'episodio
In RHS Roots Episode 7, Jo Whiley visits 2019 Bake Off winner David Atherton - and his rescue pets - in his south London kitchen garden.
David shares the joy and challenges of growing vegetables while living in Malawi, how he balances time spent gardening with his part-time job as a nurse, and the positive impact of gardening for our mental health and physical fitness.
Jo and David also discuss why Gardeners' World presenters are never seen wearing a particular gardening item, before meeting RHS Horticultural Advisor Becky Mealey who comes bearing gifts from the RHS Wisley Shop, and answers to David's most pressing gardening issues!
RHS Roots is our new twice monthly visual podcast on YouTube. It's also available on all podcast platforms. New episodes drop the first and third Friday of the month.
