Are they giving families enough support? No they definitely don't and they are letting them down in such cruel ways. The family courts should be asking for evidence of everything that is brought to them but they don't. The fact these courts are closed is intended to protect the child but it's now being used to protect the incompetence of the professionals involved.
In this episode we will be carrying on with my story about how my life imploded since covid. How I made mistakes and owned up to them. How I tried to do my best and wasn't even listened to. How I fought for my kids to come home and in their words done all I could but that wasn't enough. Let's mark the start for change. We need to have more support brought into the children service work. They tear families apart permanently with the hope of preventing trauma. Whilst causing it themselves.
This is the first part of my story leading up to the separation from my boys this week. I want to discus the truth about how bad things av been. I have been through alot in my life and still find the will to keep going. And that will has now helped me find the courage to speak out about this and say I want the story told. I want others to know that I may not have been perfect and I made mistakes. I learnt from those mistakes and I also did absolutely everything I could. Children services should be getting to know the parents properly and then offering them real help. Not just turning their backs on them and taking away their reason to wake each day
Brief outline for series 1. I shall be discussing what happened with my case and what the system did. Is this their job? Are they doing enough? Do they help people or do they make the situation worse life long for the children and parent I stead of putting in the work to provide families with the help they need to be successful at raising children in adverse circumstances. The system wants to keep parents quiet about what's happening but no matter the consequences I will be telling my story so change is possible
This podcast is to help others who are going through the devastation of being separated from their children, struggle with mental health issues, addiction and/or suffered abuse. We can recover from it all together and have our voices heard for the injustice that has happened to us. One podcast for everyone's voice who suffers trauma and still keeps fighting for things to be changed. Together let this podcast lead towards change for the better. Our voices shall be one spoken loud and proud we can recover from it all!
