Stagione 1

I thought They Were CRAZY and then I Became One of Them!

I thought THEY were crazy…then I became one of them! 😂 My husband and I once walked into a Pentecostal church, heard people speaking in tongues, looked at each other, and basically thought, “We need to get out of here!” So how did I eventually end up sitting alone on my living-room floor, Bible open, tears pouring down my face…doing the very thing I once thought was crazy? Oh friend, that's a story. In Episode 14 of Real Talk with Rosie, we're continuing Step Two of 12 Steps to Freedom: “Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.” I was still trying to figure out who God really was. Then an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader invited me to church because she wanted me to check out a man she was interested in. I went to check out HER man…and God used that day to lead me closer to MY Savior. What happened next challenged things I had been taught, frightened me enough to send me searching through Scripture, and became another turning point in my relationship with Jesus. But I want to make something very clear: Speaking in tongues did not make me more special, more spiritual, or more saved than another believer. Jesus saves. This is my testimony, not a formula for yours. Don't chase my experience. Chase Jesus. Don't seek a gift because you want to feel special. Seek the Giver. And if you've ever been skeptical about the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, speaking in tongues—or you've simply wondered whether there might be more of God than you've experienced—I especially want you to hear this story. 👑 Rosie's Kingdom Principle: “You can argue with my theology, but you can't argue with my transformation. When Jesus changes a life, people notice.” 📖 Scriptures: Matthew 3:11 • 1 Corinthians 12–14 • John 1:46 ❤️ Learn more about Recycled Women Ministries, my books including Recycled Women, and resources for your own journey toward freedom and transformation at rosemaryfisher.com. What If You Have the Wrong Picture of God?

What if the God you’ve been running from…isn’t who you thought He was? For years, I believed I had to work harder, behave better, and somehow fix myself before God could love me. I looked successful on the outside, but inside I was empty, hurting, and still trying to sit on the throne of my own life. Then Step Two challenged me: “Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.” There was just one problem—I wasn’t sure I trusted God. In this episode of Real Talk with Rosie, I share the very personal story of what happened when all my backup plans disappeared and I ended up on my knees crying out, “God, if You are really real…I need You now.” What happened next began changing everything. If religion, guilt, shame, addiction, control, or the feeling that you’ll never be “good enough” has distorted the way you see God, this episode is for you. You don’t need to have my experience. God created you uniquely, and He knows exactly how to reach your heart. Don’t chase someone else’s encounter—chase Jesus. 👑 Rosie’s Kingdom Principle: I couldn’t trust a God I was afraid of. I had to stop believing only what religion had taught me about Him and start finding out for myself who He really was by looking at Jesus. 📖 Scriptures: 1 John 4:19 • Luke 7 • John 14:9 • John 5 ❤️ Learn more about Recycled Women Ministries, my books, and resources for your journey: www.rosemaryfisher.com Your past does not define you. Are You Trying to Be Holy Spirit?

Are you trying to be the Holy Spirit? Before you say, “Absolutely not, Rosie!” 😄 Let me ask you something... Are you constantly trying to fix something—or someone? Are you carrying responsibilities that may not actually belong to you? Are you worried about what will happen if you stop stepping in, stop managing, stop rescuing, or simply let go? And here’s the really uncomfortable question: Are you trusting God with the outcome...or are you trying to control what belongs to Him? Friend, I know this struggle because I’ve lived it. Sometimes control doesn’t look like control. It can look like helping. Protecting. Worrying. Being responsible. Trying harder. Even loving someone deeply. But eventually, trying to carry what belongs to God will wear us out. In this episode of Real Talk with Rosie, we’re finishing Step One of 12 Steps to Freedom: One Day at a Time with Rosie with a truth that changed the way I understand powerlessness: 👑 ROSIE’S KINGDOM PRINCIPLE: Powerlessness shows me what isn’t mine to control. Obedience shows me what IS mine to do. Maybe freedom isn’t found in finally getting everything under control. Maybe freedom begins when we learn what belongs in OUR hands...and what belongs in GOD’S. And sometimes we need to stop playing Holy Spirit... and simply LET GOD BE GOD. If you’re exhausted from fixing, worrying, rescuing, managing outcomes, battling addiction, or carrying people you love, grab your Bible, grab your coffee, and come sit with me. We’re not giving up. We’re giving it over. ❤️ 📚 BOOKS, MINISTRY & RESOURCES Visit www.rosemaryfisher.com to order my books, learn more about Recycled Women Ministries, and find resources to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus and walk in freedom. ❤️ If this episode speaks to you, please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE, SHARE, and leave me a comment. I Love Them but I Cant Fix Them!

What do you do when you love someone with all your heart…but you can’t fix them? You see the choices they’re making. You know where those choices may lead. You’ve prayed, worried, advised, rescued, stepped in, cleaned up messes—and maybe lost a little sleep along the way. But nothing is changing. And now you’re exhausted. Friend, what if loving someone doesn’t mean carrying the responsibility for changing them? In this episode of Real Talk with Rosie, we’re having a very real conversation about one of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn: There is a difference between helping someone you love and trying to control an outcome that belongs to God. And sometimes that line is much thinner than we realize. If you’re worried about an adult child, struggling with a spouse, watching someone battle addiction, or simply exhausted from trying to make someone you love choose differently, this episode is for you. We’re going to talk about how to let go WITHOUT giving up, how to love WITHOUT enabling, how to establish boundaries WITHOUT feeling guilty, and how to finally place the outcome back into God’s hands. Because you can love them deeply… and still admit: “I can’t fix them.” 👑 ROSIE’S KINGDOM PRINCIPLE: I am responsible for my obedience. God is responsible for the outcome. If you’ve been carrying someone God never asked you to carry, grab your Bible, grab your coffee, and come sit with me. It may be time to put down a burden that was never yours to begin with. ❤️ Send this episode to someone who needs permission to love, pray…and let go. Surrender is NOT Defeat! Episode 10

Some of you are exhausted because you have been calling control strength and surrender weakness. You keep fighting the same battle in your own power—and the very thing you are trying to control is still controlling you. That is not strength. That is bondage wearing a crown. In Episode 10 of Real Talk with Rosie, Rosemary Fisher continues the 12 Steps to Freedom: One Day at a Time series with a powerful truth from Step One: Surrender is not defeat. Drawing from her recovery journey and 30 years of sobriety, Rosie reveals how control can begin as protection after trauma, rejection, abandonment, or abuse—but eventually become a prison. She shares why admitting powerlessness is not waving a white flag to the enemy. It is choosing to stop fighting alone and surrendering the battle to God. 2 Chronicles 20:12 declares: “For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” Whether you are struggling with alcohol, another addiction, fear, pride, an unhealthy relationship, or the need to control another person, this episode will help you understand the difference between surrender and passivity. Surrender does not remove your responsibility—it puts responsibility in the right place. You may not be able to control the battle, but you can turn your eyes toward Jesus, receive help, establish healthy boundaries, and make the next right choice. Surrender is not defeat. It is the transfer of trust from your limited power to God’s unlimited power. Why I am Teaching the 12 Steps Intro

Series Introduction: Why I Am Teaching the Twelve Steps Before I ask you to walk through the Twelve Steps with me, you deserve to know who is leading you—and why I believe God has called me to teach this message. I did not study the Twelve Steps from a safe distance. I lived them. I resisted them. I relapsed while trying to work them. And eventually, by the grace of God, I allowed their truth to confront the lies that were destroying my life. In this special introduction to 12 Steps to Freedom: One Day at a Time with Rosie, I share why this series is so personal to me. I am not teaching a theory. I am teaching from lived experience, 30 years of sobriety, decades of recovery, years of biblical study, and a life transformed by Jesus Christ. The Twelve Steps did not replace Jesus in my life. They exposed the places where I was still trying to live without Him. The program gave me practical actions, but Jesus gave me new life. Meetings gave me support, but the Holy Spirit transformed my heart. People walked beside me, but only God could reach the broken places within me and expose the lies I had believed since childhood. This series is about more than sobriety. It is about transformation. You may never have struggled with alcohol, but perhaps fear, anger, food, gambling, approval, perfectionism, resentment, an unhealthy relationship, or the need to control another person has made your life unmanageable. Whatever your battle may be, you are not hopeless—and you do not have to fight it alone. Throughout this series, we will examine the Twelve Steps through personal testimony, biblical truth, and practical application. I am going to tell you the truth. Sometimes that truth may hit hard, but I will always do my best to lace it in love. My purpose is not to condemn you. My purpose is to help wake you up, expose the lies keeping you trapped, and give you tools to move forward in your own journey of transformation—one truth, one choice, and one surrendered day at a time. To hear more of my story, visit www.rosemaryfisher.com and watch my testimony as featured on The 700 Club. You will see where God brought me from, what He carried me through, and why I believe no life is too broken for Jesus to transform. My testimony is not a monument to my strength. It is evidence of His grace. Subscribe, share this introduction with someone who needs hope, and join me for 12 Steps to Freedom: One Day at a Time with Rosie. Real questions. Real hope. Real transformation through Jesus Christ. #12StepsToFreedom #ChristianRecovery #AddictionRecovery #TransformationThroughJesus #RecoveryTestimony #RealTalkWithRosie
