In this episode of Real @ The Ville, we look at the powerful story of Jairus’ daughter and the moment Jesus stepped into a room full of grief, doubt, and unbelief. Jairus came to Jesus as a desperate father, carrying a burden he could not fix. Along the way, he faced delay, devastating news, and people who had already written the situation off. But Jesus spoke a word that still carries power today: “Do not be afraid. Only believe.” This episode is a reminder that when the crowd says it’s over, Jesus still has the final say. Doubt may be loud, the report may be bad, and the situation may look dead — but when the Deliverer walks in, dead things still get up.
Somewhere along the way, the Church stopped teaching some things — not because they stopped being biblical, but maybe because they became uncomfortable. Today, we’re asking: Why did we stop teaching them, what has it cost us, and how do we pick them back up in a biblical way? Not with legalism. Not with condemnation. But with grace, truth, love, and a desire to make disciples who truly follow Jesus.
