Why study Exodus 19–40? This week's intro to our fall Bible study offers a pep talk for tackling this less-familiar section of Exodus. Because it's critical to arrive at chapter 19 with the memory of chapters 1–18 fresh in your mind, we spend time reviewing what we saw in the first half of Exodus.

This teaching ends with a flyover of the two major sections of the second half of Exodus: Terms of the Covenant (19–24) and Preparation for Presence (25–40). Why was the law such good news? What were its purposes? What do we learn about God and how He works with his people from all the tabernacle instructions and rituals?
