Primary Scripture: Acts 2:22-24

Pastor Rodney continues his background study on the Apostle Peter by examining the events of Pentecost in Acts 2. He explains that after Jesus’s resurrection and ascension, the Holy Spirit arrived to enable and empower all believers to fulfill the Great Commission. He emphasizes that salvation is a gift of grace based on Christ’s finished work, not human effort or religious works. He outlines Peter's message—that Jesus is the Messiah who died and rose again—and highlights how the Holy Spirit convicts hearts, leading 3,000 people to repent and be baptized.
