Primary Scripture: Joshua 9:9-15

In this episode of Rod Talks, Pastor Rodney explores Joshua 9, focusing on the Gibeonites' deception of Israel. He emphasizes the critical "lack of discernment" that led Israel to trust visual evidence and human logic rather than inquiring of the Lord. By comparing the Gibeonites to Rahab, Rodney highlights how God’s grace extends even to the unlikely. The sermon concludes with a call to prioritize Bible study and prayer before making decisions, reminding listeners that God's supreme word is the ultimate guide for navigating life's complications.
