Primary Scriptures: Romans 9:6-9, Genesis 21:1-7

In this episode of Rod Talks, Pastor Rodney continues his study of Romans, focusing on Chapter 9 and the contrast between human effort and God’s promises. He uses the lives of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar to illustrate that while man’s attempts to fulfill God’s will often lead to failure and conflict—as seen with Ishmael—God’s faithfulness is absolute. Through the miraculous birth of Isaac, Rodney emphasizes that salvation is a divine work, not a human one. He concludes by encouraging listeners to rely solely on God’s grace rather than their own works.
