15. LUKE 'LUCKY PUNCH' GERSBECK
In episode 15 of R.CONVERSATIONS we welcomed into the R.SPORT studio Australian Professional Super Welterweight Boxer, Luke 'Lucky Punch' Gersbeck! Straight off the bat, Luke oozes the kind of confidence you need to enter the ring, projecting admirable self-belief and motivation and it's evident when speaking with him. It's almost so infectious, you have the confidence to also enter the ring. Luke's path into boxing is no doubt an interesting one with many stories that were unleashed in our chat, stemming from a very ripe age, with a few life lessons and full circle moments. We were extremely lucky to get to chat to Luke so close to an upcoming professional fight, giving us an up close and personal look into his process building up to fight night and it's certainly no walk in the park. 14. SYD VARNHAM
Dom Hone aka Syd Varnham is a musician producing sounds that are smooth & soulful accompanied by his own angelic vocals. Syd began experimenting with music from a young age, continually finding and discovering new sounds. Syd takes us on his journey from where it all started, performing and creating under different monikers to where he is today, inspirations behind his music & with many stories in between. 13. CHAD CAMP - POUR UP
Chad is one half of POUR UP which specialises in bespoke drink making & event curation, run with his brother, Carlo. Chad's experience in drink making spans over 10 years in Melbourne, Sydney and internationally from bars & clubs to operating POUR UP where the foundations were built through travel and being creative throughout covid. Through POUR UP, Chad collaborates with local chefs. artists and other various creatives & collectives, creating bespoke drinks to compliment occasions, where the food & drinks are delicious and the vibes & experiences are undeniable. 12. MEG WILCHER - APRÈS STUDIO / NU FORM MOVEMENT
Meg Wilcher is the Founder/Operator of Après Studio and Creative Director of Nu Form Movement. Meg has an extensive background in fashion design spanning over 10 years with so many experiences that have shaped where Meg is currently. Chatting and learning about Meg's journey from landing an intern role through persistence to now operating two amazing businesses was fascinating. Meg educates us on what works in terms of personal work/life balance, ways she is operating consciously ethically & environmentally while continually being on a path of exploration & learning and the approach to her unique designs. It was a pleasure to sit down with Meg, we learnt a lot in the space of an hour, and on top of Meg's knowledge and passion about her work, there's always room for good humour.
