Welcome back to Queer Tasmania, a new LGBTIQA+ podcast from North West Pride (producers of Queer Life Stories).

Rodney Croome is a name many of you will know; he has been a part of legislative changes for LGBTIQA+ protections in Tasmania, and the country for decades. From fighting for decriminalisation of homosexual acts in Tasmania, to the national campaign for Marriage Equality – just as examples of some of the work Rodney has been involved in.

Queer Tasmania was fortunate to sit down with Rodney and talk about some of the stories of the past as well as discuss what he and Equality Tasmania are working on currently and where the community can support some of these challenges.
