Note sull'episodio
How do you write a strong statement of interest for a Clinical Psychology PhD program?
In this episode, we take a closer look at one of the most important pieces of the application: the statement of interest. We discuss how to use your statement to connect the different experiences on your CV, develop a clear research narrative, communicate your research interests, and demonstrate your fit with a potential supervisor and program. We also discuss some of the common mistakes that can weaken an otherwise strong statement. Finally, I share a practical checklist to help you revise your statement and make sure it clearly communicates who you are as a researcher, how your experiences have shaped your interests, and why the program is the right next step for you.
