Where You Came From

From Samuel's August 31, 2026 blog — "Never let where you came from determine where you're going." The episode tells his origin arc: a 12-year-old whose parents divorced after years of his father's violence against his mother, who watched The Bodyguard (1992) and found his calling, then spent thirty years standing between danger and the people he swore to protect. Anchored on 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) with Joseph as the biblical parallel: don't deny the pit, just don't let it write the ending — your wound becomes your assignment.
