From the liminal, to the holographic, to the fictious, we have explored several different worlds and realities this season. However, there is one world that we can all concretely say is ours. This one, planet Earth. Regardless of what you may believe about the shape, age, or size of our interstellar home address, as far as we know, this is the only place we have. Yet we seem hell bent on making a mess of the whole thing, and the planet is now responding in kind. Not to retread a previous spiel, but hurricanes and tornados are becoming more powerful, fires more common, and potable water more scarce. Climate change is here, and now we must contend with it. So Dear Listener, for tonight’s episode we will be departing from our usual comedically inclined esoteric explorations and delving into what this new reality means for all of us.
