Welcome to Possibilities Club! (A Letter from Vanessa)

Welcome to Possibilities Club! I'm your host Vanessa Li: a girl in her 30's, and a multi-passionate creative (just like you). I am a theater kid & pit musician, community builder, writer, events producer, designer researcher, your creative crush consultant (more on that later), and ever-curious conversationalist. And...this show is my latest creative baby: an audio docu-series created for every modern-day multi-passionate person. This means: you are curious, excited, but also maybe a bit nervous about embracing a life of many possibilities. A little about my creative journey; 3 years ago, while working in public health and government consulting, I carved out mornings and afternoons here and there to interview shopkeepers, muralists, chefs, filmmakers, and creatives of all kinds in my community. I was fascinated by those who embraced this one wild and precious life by living out multiple passions, paths, and life callings. And, I felt deeply called to uplift their stories, and celebrate the journey of building their next chapter. That project became Tomatokind (tomatokind.com), which is now a collective of creative individuals reigniting their spark together (without the pressure of starting over). Over time, the Tomatokind ethos evolved into many intimate, meaningful community gatherings, a substack newsletter filled with personal essays and tiny experiments, my creativity coaching practice, and now this podcast! So, whether you've been in my orbit for a all my life or very recently, I am so grateful you are here and I cannot wait to share this vocal storytelling journey with you.
