Note sull'episodio
Join Joe McDonald as he reflects on the promise of living in a new and wonderful world by following the dictates of a Higher Power, as outlined in Step 12 of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe asks participants to recall moments when their external circumstances—such as prison, homelessness, or hospitalization—didn’t immediately change, but their attitude shifted dramatically. He emphasizes that our external situations don’t define us, but the power within us will guide us through. This promise of internal transformation, regardless of circumstances, is a key aspect of recovery.
In Alcoholics Anonymous, Step 12 teaches us to carry the message to others and live by spiritual principles, helping us to live in a new world, no matter what challenges arise. Joe encourages us to share this experience of inner transformation with others on the recovery journey.
