“But begin to dwell on the hopelessness of your own condition and the struggle you went through from the time you first got introduced to it. So show him from your own experience how the queer mental conditions surrounding that first drink prevent normal functioning of the willpower. What I am saying is when I’m not spiritually fit and I hear people say, ‘Man, what a tough day, I’m going to go out and have a few, let off some steam.’ My mind says, ‘I had a tough day. Why can’t I go have a few and let off some steam?’”
