Note sull'episodio

Join Joe McDonald as he reads from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, diving into the raw and emotional experiences outlined in the early pages of the book. Reflecting on the challenges many face, Joe discusses the common human struggles with obstinacy, sensitiveness, and unreasoning prejudice.

“Besides the seeming inability to accept much on faith, we often found ourselves handicapped by obstinacy, sensitiveness, and unreasoning prejudice. Any of you ever had that problem? You don’t have to have an addictive disorder to be handicapped by obstinacy, sensitiveness, and unreasoning prejudice, right? Your world gets pretty small if you don’t like anyone like you because pretty soon you’ll be with just you and you ain’t going to be happy there either. Yeah. So the reality is we’ve all had that. This is a human thing.”
