Taking pictures with Camille La Verde

Welcome to another episode of the Poi Podcast that rarely talks about poi spinning and juggling: in fact this week we are talking photography, specifically circus and performative arts photography! Come and meet Camille La Verde, photographer of circus and movement! We had a lovely discussion about how she approaches photoshoots, how she composes and picks her shots, her philosophy and her wishes for the future! Chilling and Reminiscing with Rocco & Morten

After a summer full of juggling, spinning and podcasting, we decided to have a chill episode, just Me and Morten and chat about this summer. We talked about the events and convention we attented this summer and the future plan regarding the podcast. Also, we would have felt pretty weird not to talk a little about Chris Kelly's passing away: a complicated and troubled poi spinner and juggler that left a very important mark in our community and on poi spinning as a whole. Poiheads LIVE! at European Juggling Convention 2026 with Sebastian Berger

Altho he would not define himself as such, we can easily say that Sebastian Berger is a Fishtail Master. Not only he greatly helped develop a graphic notation system called NAVU to define the possible stalls performable with fishtails, he is also an active part in the Austrian circus arts scene. An amazing human being that we had the honor to interview at the European Juggling Convention 2026 in Ptuj. Please check out this lovely episode, and prepare some magnisium for your sweaty wrists :) This week's Poiheads are Sebastian Berger - https://staffmanipulation.com/ https://www.fenfire.at/about-fenfire/ Morten Kjaer - https://www.instagram.com/morten.moves/ Rocco Toscano - https://www.instagram.com/circularvideos/ Follow our podcast on https://www.instagram.com/poiheads/ Get our merch at poiheads.com Send us an email contact@poiheads.com Intro by Flavio "il Naya" Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/il_naya Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@il_naya

Starting a business with Minds on Flow & Modern Poi

Starting a new company is hard, but starting it in a niche market like flow arts might be even harder! Jesse from Minds on Flow is releasing a new modular LED system and will tell us how tricky it is to make a machine to mold silicon. Andreas on the other hand is launching a platform that would resemble a skill tree for poi, with the aim of helping beginners in their learning journey. Poiheads LIVE! @PhoenixFireConvention 2026 with GORA!

If you are an european fire spinner there is a very high chance that your first ever fire prop was probably a Gora branded one. Krisztian Gora, or just simply Gora, is a pioneer of prop manufacturing, the inventor of dragonstaff as we know it, an amazing fire performer and an insanely good and captivating story teller! We had the chance of sitting down with him for a chat at Phoenix Fire Convention 2026, and we loved it! In this episode we will also go through some heavier topics, like remembering the beloved Linda Farkas, and a gruesome story about an accident that happened to Gora during a fire show, that changed his life. Poiheads LIVE! @Artemisia Fire Gathering 2026 with Tim Goddard

On the last day of Artemisia Fire Gathering we sat down with none other than the poi legend himself Tim Goddard and bombarded him with questions! Does he manages to survive from poi spinning alone? What's the scene like in Australia? Is he Mainstream now? Listen to the episode and let us know if the answers were satisfying :) Also, don't get spooked if the audio gets weird sometimes: we were outside on a very windy day, surrounded by jugglers playing music, cracking whips and throwing knives, so I had to crank up the noise reduction in some small bits :) This week's Poiheads Tim Goddard - https://www.instagram.com/timmehtek/ Morten Kjaer - https://www.instagram.com/morten.moves/ Rocco Toscano - https://www.instagram.com/circularvideos/ Follow our podcast on https://www.instagram.com/poiheads/ Get our merch at poiheads.com Send us an email contact@poiheads.com Intro by Flavio "il Naya" Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/il_naya Tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@il_naya
