God’s thoughts toward His children are intentional and full of purpose. He said in Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” and those thoughts are thoughts of peace and a future filled with hope. Because we belong to Him, heaven stays attentive to our lives. His presence follows His own, and His mark upon us cannot be erased. Daniel understood this confidence when he stood before the king and declared that the God he served knew his innocence, and that same God shut the lions’ mouths on his behalf. The believer carries an identity that speaks even when no words are said. That identity removes fear because we know we belong to God, and wherever His own are found, His presence remains near.
