PAMOJA TURNING POINT — A CHRISTIAN GOING UNDERCOVER
Not every Christian walks away from God all at once.
Sometimes the journey begins quietly.
A desire entertained. A wound left unresolved. A boundary moved. A compromise justified. A part of your identity hidden because, for a moment, being known as a follower of Christ would interfere with something you want to experience.
In this opening story from PAMOJA TURNING POINT, Berry Mwamba explores the hidden journey of a Christian going undercover—someone who still believes in God, still knows Scripture, still remembers prayer and conviction, but slowly learns how to enter another world while concealing who he really is.
The visible fall may happen in a moment. But what if the real fall began much earlier?
Like termites quietly weakening a massive baobab from within, spiritual drift can develop long before anyone sees the damage. Desire is fed. Justification begins. Discipline weakens. Prayer becomes irregular. Boundaries that once provided protection begin to feel restrictive.
Then opportunity arrives.
And when the tree finally falls, everybody blames the wind.
But the wind may have only exposed what had been happening inside for a very long time.
A CHRISTIAN GOING UNDERCOVER is not a story told to condemn someone who fell. It is an invitation to look beneath the visible failure and ask a deeper question:
What happened before what happened?
Where did the drift really begin? When did conviction become negotiation? When did secrecy become necessary? And when someone realizes how far they have traveled from the person they once were…
how do they get home?
This is a story of wandering, hidden battles, weakened boundaries, awakening—and the possibility of a turning point.
Because somewhere along the journey, you may stop hearing someone else’s story…
and begin hearing your own.
PAMOJA TURNING POINT Stories of wandering. Stories of awakening. Stories of coming home.
