Stagione 21

Education Revolution (Pt. 9): The Purging of Faith

Sam and Will discuss the legacy of Columbia's Frankfurt School. With German professors pushing divisiveness through "critical theory" (i.e. cultural Marxism), radicals on America's college campuses began calling for violent revolution. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court took a sharp turn toward secularism and began purging Christianity from the fabric of American society.

Education Revolution (Pt. 8): Dewey Radicalizes American Schools

Sam and Will discuss the legacy of John Dewey -- the Father of Modern American Education. After Columbia University launched the nation's first Teachers' College, radical professors began training the teachers of teachers to push for radical Marxist and humanistic reforms in education. Suddenly, teachers were being taught to use the nation's classrooms to reshape the soul of America.

Education Revolution (Pt. 7): The Church Forsakes the Scriptures

Sam and Will discuss the church's slide into theological liberalism at the turn of the last century. Under the increasing pressures of Darwinism and the calls for social progress, many denominations abandoned the authority of the scriptures. As the church forsook its calling to be salt, the American culture began to rot.

Education Revolution (Pt. 6): Marxism Poisons American Minds

Sam and Will discuss the devastating legacy of Karl Marx and his Communist Manifesto. More than 100 million people perished under the cruel tyranny of communist regimes, and the poor suffered the most. Though Marxist philosophies stand diametrically opposed to the principles of American liberty, many Americans were intoxicated by the prospect of communism.

Education Revolution (Pt. 5): Darwin's Genocidal Influence

Sam and Will discuss the legacy of Charles Darwin whose theories were used by history's most genocidal tyrants to justify their evil campaigns. Darwin's family also led an international eugenics campaign to prevent "human weeds" from reproducing and furthering their genetics. These theories also had a devastating effect on the realms of philosophy and theology in America.

Education Revolution (Pt. 4): The Government Takeover

Sam and Will discuss how the Common School movement enabled the government to take control of education in America. Horace Mann, the father of this movement, assured the states that the government would not exploit classrooms for political purposes. Instead, he promised that public schools would result in excellent academics and widespread biblical instruction. None of these promises were kept.

Education Revolution (Pt. 3): The Godless French Revolution

Sam and Will discuss the godless ideas that ultimately led to the French Revolution. With the aim of achieving liberty and equality, the godless, man-centered philosophies of Rousseau, Voltaire, and Diderot led the French into a violent and convulsive revolution that sought to purge God from government. This resulted in a genocidal campaign of terror.

Education Revolution (Pt. 2): The American Experiment

Sam and Will discuss the ideas that contributed to the great American experiment in liberty. With the Bible as the most influential source, the Founders also embraced ideas from men like Baron de Montesquieu, John Locke, and William Blackstone. Using the acronym RAIL (religion, absolutes, individual rights, and limited government), Sam and Will discuss the bedrock principles that formed America.

Education Revolution (Pt. 1): The Roots of American Education

Sam and Will discuss the surprising history of education from the Protestant Reformation to the founding of America. Contrary to popular belief, the colonists and the Founding Fathers empowered the Church to play a central role in assisting parents in the education of the youth.
