Note sull'episodio
This Sunday, the Rev. Deacon Sandy Turner delivered a sermon which focused on the exemplary life and ministry of Deaconess Anna Alexander, who in 1907 became the first black woman to be set aside as a deaconess in the Episcopal Church, and is an officially recognized saint in both the Diocese of Georgia and the Episcopal Church.
The lessons for this Sunday were Deuteronomy 6:4-9, 20-25, Timothy 3:14-4:5, and Matthew 11:25-30.
