Welcome back to OFBS S2, Episode 2! We thank God for consistency! And that is exactly what can be said for this week's main character: Joseph. Joseph was fighting for his life with opps on every side. Despite the chaos, flat out injustice, and despair, Joseph kept his eyes to the sky to his Helper. He lived under the awareness of God inspite of less than favorable circumstances. As our lovely guest Astrid illustrates, that waiting period for Joseph was not wasted. Instead, his character was refined and when he did step into the pathway God had for him, he was not the 17 year old child. He was a man who would direct all glory to God. I leave you with this verse: "But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:4)
