Note sull'episodio
On today’s episode we have the pleasure of sitting down with Richmond native Jason Newcomb - guitarist and co-founder of RVA’s Mashup & Cozy Condition and their newest 90s project Be Kind & Rewind.
Hailing from Richmond Virginia, Mashup & Cozy Condition is an electrifying eight-piece ensemble that melds vintage funk, with modern production techniques. They are famous for “mashing” together songs in the same key. They also recently played at our best friend Cheryl’s wedding.
In this episode you'll hear about stories of partying with Guns N' Roses, addiction, entrepreneurship and much more. You'll also hear Big Daddy's tips of how to beat the Richmond heat as well as fun upcoming events in our hood. We also discuss the Richmond "gun hole" and RVA being dubbed the best #1 best "town."
