12_18 - Preparing Your Heart For A King - Kody Alvarez - Lead Pastor

Because Mary was living a life with a heart that was willing to be obedient, she was humble, and she lived a life of worship when God showed up she was sensitive to His call. She wasn’t numb to direction of leading of the Lord. The text this morning showed what happens when God uses an unlikely person in and unlikely place to do His unlikely work. If we learn from Mary’s example of her obedient heart, willingness, and overflow of worship when we take her posture we can be expectant that God will do a mighty thing through us.

Once you have tasted and seen that the Lord is good and that His plan is better. If or when you go back to living for your own kingdom, chasing relationships, climbing the career ladder, acquiring wealth, trying to find worth in your appearance- your life will start tasting like that dry cereal with no milk. You will see your life as bland. God’s life He has planned for you is not bland it is sweet. God is good, and the life He has for you is good.

11_27 - The Love of the Father - Kody Alvarez - Lead Pastor

Luke 15: 11-32 The Jews, the Pharisees, and the sinners alike did not understand what Jesus is about to reveal about the love of the Father. The love of the Father is not based on your ability to perform or obey. The love of the Father is based on your relationship with Him as His child.

Jesus is the Good Shephard King. He came to earth and bled and died in your place. David allowed his servant to die so that David would not have to bear shame. Jesus took our shame. Jesus took your debt. Jesus made a way if you would just repent and believe that you would be saved.
